Master Clear & Hard Reset List



    In Alphabetical Order


A

-Apple IPhone 3G: Hold HOME (button on front of phone)+ SLEEP/AWAKE (power button on top) for 10 seconds - Slide bar will appear (keep holding) - Phone will turn OFF - When Apple icon appears, release the buttons - It might take 2 tries to work

***All Blackberry phones that are locked by a personal password can be reset by entering the wrong password 10 times***

-Blackberry 8230: (Click means press the trackball in) Press MENU button - Scroll down to and click on “Options”(Wrench) -  Scroll down to  and click on “Security Options” -  Click on “General Settings” -  Press MENU button - Scroll to and click “Wipe Handheld” - Click on “Include third party applications” - Click on “Continue” - Enter “Blackberry” - Click
-BlackBerry 9000: Menu - Settings - Options -  Security Options - Security Wipe - Check all boxes - Type “Blackberry” - click “Wipe”

-BLU phones default reset password: 1122
-Blu Q53 (Samba Jr.): Reset Password: 1234

-HTC (Inspire) 4G: With power OFF - Hold: VOLUME DOWN + POWER until menu pops up - Use VOLUME DOWN to highlight “Factory Reset” - Press POWER
-HTC (MyTouch) 3G: With power OFF - Hold HOME (Looks like a house) + POWER until an icon appears - Press HOME + POWER - Use trackball to select “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” - Use trackball to select “Reboot system now”
-HTC (Sensation) 4G: With power OFF - Hold: VOLUME DOWN + POWER until menu pops up - Use VOLUME DOWN to highlight “Clear Storage” - Press POWER to select - Confirm by pressing VOLUME UP
-HTC (Status) 3G: With power OFF - Hold: VOLUME DOWN and Press POWER - When Android  appears release VOLUME DOWN - Use VOLUME DOWN to highlight “Factory Reset” - Press POWER to select “Factory Reset”  
-HTC 7 (Trophy): With power OFF - Hold VOLUME UP/DOWN + POWER - Release when screen with blue writing appears - Press VOLUME DOWN  to reset -  Press VOLUME DOWN to restart
-HTC A3333 (Wildfire): With power OFF - Hold: VOLUME DOWN - Press and release POWER - When menu appears: Press VOLUME DOWN until “Clear Storage” is selectable - Press: POWER to “Clear Storage”
-HTC G1: With power OFF - Hold HOME + POWER until black screen with icon appears - Slide open keyboard and press ALT + ”W”
-HTC S522 (Snap): Hold VOLUME UP + POWER until a white screen appears - Hit SEND to reset phone - Hit SEND again to reboot phone
-HTC ST6356 (Pure): No Hard Reset (Reset from menu)
-HTC ST7377 (Tilt 2): With power OFF - Hold: TALK/SEND + END + POWER until you see a message screen - Release all 3 -  Press: VOLUME UP
-HTC ST8788 (Surround): Tap the ARROW on the top right of screen - Tap SETTINGS - Tap ABOUT - Scroll down to “Reset Phone” - Tap “Yes”
-HTC Touch Pro 2: TALK + END + POWER - (When display appears) Press VOLUME DOWN button

-LG C900 (Quantum): With power OFF - Hold: VOLUME UP/DOWN + CAMERA + POWER - Hold until “Cold Boot” appears. - Release ONLY POWER - Keep holding VOLUME UP/DOWN + CAMERA until the welcome screen appears - Phone is reset.                                                          
-LG CT810: With power OFF - Hold VOLUME DOWN + CAMERA + POWER - Release when green screen appears - Let phone reboot - Phone is reset
-LG CU720: No Hard Reset - Reset from Settings
-LG CU920: Dial: 277634#*# - Factory Reset (2nd choice down)  -  Yes
-LG GD510: Dial: 1809#*510# - Factory Reset

-LG GS390: No Hard Reset - Reset from Settings

-LG GT540: Turn phone ON - Press and hold VOLUME UP + SEARCH (On side of phone next to CAMERA) + HOME for 5 seconds - Press OK
-LG GT550: Dial: 1809#*550# - Choose “Factory Mode” - Choose “Factory Reset”
-LG KP500: Dial: 1809#*500#
-LG P350: With power OFF - Hold END + SEND + VOLUME DOWN for more
than 10 seconds (should be reset after turning back on)
-LG P500 (Optimus ONE): Hold VOLUME DOWN + HOME + POWER until Android icon comes up - Phone will reboot and be cleared
-LG VS750 (Fathom): Power phone ON - Go to Settings/System/Memory/Clear Storage - Choose "Factory Default" - This will erase all data and install the enterprise’s custom configuration - Choose “Yes”

-Motorola A1200 (Ming): No hard reset - Must clear from MENU - SETTINGS
-Moto EX115: No Hard Reset - Must clear from MENU - SETTINGS    Password: 1234
-Moto MB200 (Cliq): With device OFF - Hold CAMERA + POWER - Release CAMERA when told - Hold VOLUME DOWN until Android icon appears (Triangle with exclamation point in it) - Open keyboard - Press ALT + “L” - Press ALT + “W” - Press MENU + BACK (not on keypad, on front of phone)
-Moto MB300 (Backflip): Hold POWER + CAMERA - Release CAMERA when told - Press VOLUME DOWN - When Android icon appears: Press on screen just above back key (on the screen) -  Select: Factory Reset (ALT + “W”) - Select reboot
-Moto MB501: To bypass Blur account screen - Press: MENU (four squares button) + BACK - Type ALT + “E” x2 - IN CAPS TYPE: BLUROFF
-Moto MB502: With phone powered OFF - Hold: “X” on the keyboard + POWER until icon appears - When icon appears press “X “+ POWER again and release - follow “on screen” instructions
-Moto MB508 (Flipside): With power OFF - Hold: “X” + POWER - When Motorola logo appears, Release POWER - When Android icon appears, release “X” and press Volume+ Volume - at the same time - When menu appears, use DIRECTIONAL KEYS (on keyboard) to select “Wipe data/factory reset” - Hit ENTER (on keyboard) - Select “reboot”
-Moto MB511 (Flipout): With power OFF - Hold: “X” + POWER - When Motorola logo appears, Release POWER - When Android icon appears, release “X” - Press POWER - Choose “Factory Reset” - Choose “Reboot”
-Moto MB525: Hold: VOLUME DOWN + POWER until Android Icon appears - Press: VOLUME UP/DOWN - When menu appears: use VOLUME UP or DOWN to highlight “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” - Press POWER to select “Yes”
-Moto MB865 (Atrix 2): With phone OFF - Hold: VOLUME UP/DOWN and press POWER - “Boot Mode Selection Menu” will pop up - Use VOLUME DOWN to cycle down to “Android Recovery” - Press VOLUME UP to choose selection - When Android Icon (Triangle with exclamation point) appears press VOLUME UP/DOWN at the same time - Tap VOLUME DOWN until “Wipe Data/Factory Reset” is highlighted - Press POWER - Highlight: “Reboot System Now” - Press POWER - Phone will reboot
-Moto Q9H: With phone OFF - Hold “E”+”Z”+ POWER - press: “F”+”S”

-Samsung S5363 (Galaxy Y): Hold: VOLUME DOWN + POWER until “Android system recovery” menu pops up - Go down to “Wipe data/factory reset” - Press HOME (black button at bottom)

-Sony Ericsson RX800 (X-Peria Play): No Hard Reset (Reset from menu)
-Sony Ericsson U5: Dial: *#7370# - Lock code: 0000 (Wait for phone to reset and press “OK” when “Master Clear Complete” appears)
-Sony Ericsson W350a: No Hard Reset (Reset from menu)
-Sony Ericsson X10: With the power OFF - Hold LEFT + RIGHT buttons located beneath display - Press and release POWER - Follow on-screen instructions
